2020 release HP EliteBook X360 830 G6 is a 2-in-1 touchscreen business laptop with an all aluminium distinctive design, a 13.3″ Full HD IPS touch display around a 360-degree hinge, Intel i5-8265U processor, 256GB Solid State Drive, 16GB RAM, Windows 10 Pro operating system, backlit keyboard, TPM 2.0 fingerprint reader, and great connectivity options including Thunderbolt and WiFi 6.

You can purchase the EliteBook X360 with different combinations of 16GB, 32GB and 256GB, 512GB. You have the 16GB DDR4 as the original RAM, and upgraded to 32GB and 256GB SSD as the original and upgraded to 512GB or 1TB. The original and upgraded configurations are achieved by the manufacturer opening the box for testing and inspection and installing the necessary upgrades for different specs. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed on this machine and has a user-friendly interface with familiar and brand new features.

The quad core Intel i5-8265U processor has a base speed of 1.6GHz up to 3.9GHz with the turbo boost function (6MB L3 cache, 4 cores, 8 threads). The Passmark benchmark score is 7993 for an advanced processing power in your daily or very demanding tasks. The 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD is good enough storage space with plenty of speed that makes the system feel snappy in whatever you do.16GB DDR4 SDRAM would be plenty for most laptop users’ needs for multitasking. The high performance level you get with the quad core processor also adds to the multitasking power.

The 13.3″ diagonal Full HD Sure View touchscreen has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and great viewing at any angle. Intel UHD 620 graphics comes built into the system and shares the memory with the i5-8265U processor. It has a benchmark score of 1077 on the day of this product review. Intel UHD 620 benefits from the power of the quad core i5 processor and offers a performance level between the NVIDIA 910M and 920M processors. You can play the casual, less demanding games like the Farming Simulator 17 and Team Fortess 2. The keyboard is backlit for typing easily in the dark or dim light.

It has the 720p high definition webcam on the top bezel for live Skype chats with colleagues or friends. You can speak through the dual array digital microphone with the HP Noise Cancellation and the sound quality is quite good through the two premium stereo speakers with the Bang & Olufsen Audio and HP Audio Boost. Connectivity options include the Intel AX200 Wi-Fi 6 (2×2) wireless and Bluetooth 5 combo, 2 x USB 3.1 gen1 Type-A ports, 2 x USB 3.1 gen1 Type-C ports Thunderbolt (one of them with charging), a HDMI 1.4 output, a Headphone/Microphone combo jack, Media Card Reader, Security Lock Slot and AC port (DC jack).

It is suitable for use by students, small business owners, professionals on their travels or by anyone at home as it offers plenty of power for even the very demanding tasks and entertainment along with some gaming.
