2020 Lenovo C330 2-in-1 Convertible 11.6″ Touchscreen Chromebook

2020 Lenovo C330 is an 11.6-inch touchscreen 2-in-1 convertible Chromebook laptop with a quad core MediaTek MT8173C tablet processor, PowerVR GX6250 integrated graphics, basic 32GB eMMC flash storage, 4GB LPDDR3 memory and Chrome operating system. It is quite a reasonable machine overall at the price level offered and has an impressive average customer rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars by 10 users.

Blizzard white Lenovo C330 has a PC and ABS case, weighs 2.65 pounds and measures 11.7 x 0.8 x 8.1 inches. The quad core MediaTek MT8173C (4C/ 2X A72 + 2X A53) processor runs at a speed range of 1.3GHz (base) to 2.16GHz (max boost). It offers great per thread performance along with the reduced power consumption. 4GB soldered LPDDR3 memory at 1866MHz is a good amount for a Chromebook at this level. 32GB eMMC flash storage offers much more speed than a standard hard drive but lacks the space you may need for storage. And you’ll probably be using more of Cloud storage and access your files wherever you have internet access.

Chrome operating system is pre-installed on this Chromebook, which is very easy to operate with the online and offline apps and the Chrome browser. It is traditionally a laptop to purchase if you will be doing stuff mostly on the internet and comes with the constant automatic updates in the background. There is no optical drive on this slim and compact 2-in-1 Chromebook but you have a decent amount of connectivity options including the 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2,an HDMI output, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A port, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port, 1 x 1/8″ (3.5 mm) audio jack and 4-in-1 Media Card Reader.

11.6″ high definition anti-glare LED-backlit touchscreen with IPS panel has the 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, 300 nit brightness, 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles and supports 10-point multi-touch gestures. The PowerVR GX6250 is the built-in mobile graphics card that should let you play the complex Android games at high resolutions and pretty much all the Chrome games. We mention Android because this graphics card is mostly used in Android smartphones, tablets and laptops. And the overall GPU performance level is in the upper middle level of the mobile GPUs. There is a good quality 720p webcam in the middle of the top bezel with a mono microphone.

Keyboard is not backlit but comfortable to type on with good key distance and has a large and responsive touchpad that you can use in combination with the touchscreen without needing a mouse. Integrated 45Wh lithium polymer battery should last you all day long depending on how you use the laptop, but you won’t probably need to recharge it till you get back home in the evening. It is a lightweight and compact laptop that generally runs faster than you may expect at the price level, is easy to use and reliable. It can be used by students for homework and by adults for general use at home- web browsing, video streaming, typing up documents and playing Chrome games. We are happy to recommend it, especially at such a low price level.
