2022 Acer 11.6″ IPS Ultra-Light Chromebook

2022 model ultra-light Acer 11.6″ Chromebook comes with the basic entry level specs of quad-core ARM processor, 32GB eMMC flash storage, 4GB DDR4 memory, Chrome operating system, HD display with IPS panel and webcam. Please note that it is a renewed laptop, which is like-new refurbished that has been inspected and tested to work like brand new. 

This high efficiency processor implements the Armv8-A architecture and has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores, each with an L1 memory system and a single shared L2 cache and 4 threads without hyper-threading at up to 2.0GHz speeds and it is mostly used in entry level to mid-range Android tablets. And performance between a Snapdragon 429 and 632 should be adequate for your day-to-day online and offline Chrome apps and browsing the web on Chrome browser. 

32GB eMMC SSD is a small amount of local storage space but will be fine if you won’t download many apps or use Linux. And 4GB DDR4 RAM is an average amount for a Chromebook at this level and offers enough multitasking for daily use. Connectivity options include the IEEE 802.11ac WIFI, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C port, a USB Type A port and a headphone/microphone jack. The dual-band Wifi-5 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth and an LPDDR4x memory controller are built into the SoC.

It also has the ARM Mali-G52 MC1 or MP1 graphics card which is mainly for the mainstream smartphones and is not suitable for demanding 3D Android games like PUBG Mobile but should be fine with the usual Chrome games. 11.6″ HD IPS Display has the 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and 178-degree viewing angles. The screen resolution is adequate for such a small screen and at this price point. 

Acer 11.6″ Chromebook is lightweight, compact and portable- weighs 3.47 pounds and measures 11.5L x 8.1W x 0.73H inches. It is very low cost and easy to travel with as you can take it wherever you go easily to use for casual internet surfing and checking emails. It boots up quickly and lets you access the Android apps. It first became available on April 11, 2022 and is listed in the top 100 best selling Traditional Laptop Computers. The average user rating is 4.4 out of 5 stars by 31 customers at the time of this post release.
