The 11.6-inch ASUS Chromebook Flip C214MA-YS02T is an April 2019 release convertible Chromebook with a rugged chassis- Military Standard (MIL-STD-810G) construction and a 360-degree rotation high definition touch display. You can purchase it with or without Stylus at Amazon.com, with a price difference of roughly 50 dollars at the time of this product review.
The main specs include an Intel Celeron N4000 processor, 4GB DDR4 memory for decent multitasking capability, 32GB eMMC solid state flash storage at 10000 rpm and Chrome operating system. The late 2017 release Apollo Lake platform Intel N4000 is an entry level dual core processor that runs at 1.1 to 2.6GHz speeds with turbo boost. It is used for low cost or little convertible machines and has an overall Passmark performance benchmark score of 1441.
The 11.6” touchscreen moves 360 degrees with the flexible and solid, high strength zinc alloy hinge. And you can use the Chromebook in laptop, stand, slate, tent and tablet modes. It even comes with two webcams that give you options in video conferencing, recording videos or taking photos- selfies. One of them is a special world-facing camera for taking photos and videos in tablet mode. The keyboard is water-resistant and the internal components are protected from the accidental spills. Chromebook C214 weighs only 2.6 pounds with the dimensions of 11.5 x 7.8 x 0.8 inches, is small, lightweight and very portable.
