HAOQIN HaoBook140 14-inch Laptop
Sakura pink HAOQIN HaoBook 140 is an ultra-slim and lightweight 14-inch laptop with the entry level technical specs of Celeron N3350 processor, Intel HD 500 graphics, 128GB Solid State Drive, 6GB DDR3 memory, Windows 10 operating system in S mode and even a special numeric keypad on touchpad.
The quarter two of 2016 release Celeron Apollo Lake N3350 is a low-end dual core processor (2 cores and 2 threads) for handling the daily tasks for both work and entertainment. It works at a base speed of 1.1Ghz that goes up to 2.4GHz with the turbo boost function as required by the more demanding tasks. The average CPU Passmark benchmark score is 1129 and as long as you’ll not be playing the demanding games or run complex multimedia software, you’ll be fine on this laptop.
6GB DDR3 RAM is a good amount of memory at this price level for a decent multitasking power to run a few browser tabs and a couple of applications simultaneously. It comes with a 128GB SSD as local storage for high speed especially when opening files and adequate space if you don’t have many multimedia files. There is also an expandable slot for up to 512GB storage. If you want to install a larger Solid State Drive you need to reinstall the system. The typical Thermal Design Power is only 6 watts for this browser and the 10000mAh battery should last a long time, depending on what you’re doing on the laptop.
The 14-inch high definition non-touch display has the standard 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, 16:9 image aspect ratio and IPS panel with the large 178-degree viewing angles. It has a 0.3MP HD webcam on the top bezel with the privacy shutter for added security. The white keyboard is quite comfortable to type on and with a special trackpad that you see in the photos. And you can also connect a wireless mouse easily if you are one of those people that prefer using a mouse over touchpads. Even though the screen is not Full HD resolution it seems quite clear and has vibrant colors and you can expect an immersive media experience overall.
HaoBook 140 is easy on the eyes with a very cute appearance, weighs 2.87 pounds and measures 13.07 x 7.9 x 0.35 inches. It has the modern connectivity options including the dual band 802.11ac wireless at 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 4.2, a mini HDMI output, a headphone/microphone combo jack, a DC in jack, a TF card slot, 2 x USB 3.0 ports (one on each side). Please note that the chassis on this budget compact PC is not metallic but solid plastic. It is offered with a 12-month warranty by the manufacturer and If you encounter any issues with the machine you can contact the customer service team and they’ll be happy to help.
You can switch to the regular Windows 10 Home version through the Start menu and Microsoft Store free of charge. But once you’re transferred from the Windows 10 in S mode, there is no going back. We are happy to recommend this cute litte laptop to those of you that need something lightweight, slim and compact with adequate computing power. It comes with a unique design numeric keypad on the touchpad and you can change between the two modes of cursor movement and entering numbers very easily. It is a pretty Sakura pink laptop without a lot of power for very demanding tasks but still a solid machine that will handle your regular computing tasks. And it has an average customer rating of 5 out of 5 stars by 3 users at the moment of this post release.
