Quarter two of 2018 release Intel Celeron N4000 is a modern entry level processor that is designed for day-to-day tasks like the web browsing, word processing, video streaming etc. It is a dual core processor with a 4MB cache that runs at a base speed of 1.1GHz that moves up to an impressive 2.6GHz with the turbo boost function. The Passmark benchmark score is 1431 on the day of this product review.
4GB memory offers more than adequate multitasking power to let you open different apps and browsers simultaneously.You shouldn’t have any problems in your daily tasks with a couple of browsers open while working on a software. Windows 10 operating system comes pre-installed on this brand new HP Stream 14 with the older familiar features like the Windows 7 Start menu and the new features like the Edge browser that allows you mark up web pages and Cortana Personal Assistant.
The 14″ high definition BrightView LED-backlit display has the narrow bezels with a 78.4 percent screen to body ratio and the regular 1366 x 768-pixel resolution. Intel UHD 600 is the built-in GPU on the Celeron processor for adequate power for your daily graphics needs. You can play the simple Windows games on this machine. It comes with a decent lithium ion battery with long life to last all day long when you’re out and about and away from a power outlet. The typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is only 6 watts which is great news for the battery life.
