It looks stylish and modern with an aluminium alloy on the tablet and great fabric texture on the stand cover as part of its dual tone design. You can use it for both work and play in tablet or laptop modes by simply attaching and detaching the keyboard that is responsive and comfortable to use.
The early 2018 release Mediatek Helio P60T at up to 2Ghz speed (8 cores and 8 threads) is a mid-range ARM SoC for the Android phones. 4GB LPDDR4X RAM at 2400MHz is a decent amount for an entry level 2-in-1 Chromeboook. It has a plug and play removable keyboard with a 5-point pogo pin and magnet design. You can take it wherever you go with its thin and compact chassis and portable design.
The battery life is quite good at up to 10 hours of battery life from its lithium polymer battery which should last you all day long. This Chromebook starts up quickly and you can access the system easily with your Google login. It is generally easy and safe to use and you can use it for a variety of basic daily tasks like browsing the net on Google Chrome, accesing your files in the Cloud, emailing, video streaming and more. You’ll find thousands of apps on the Google Play store.
10.1″ WUXGA display with the 4-side narrow bezels has the 1920 x 1200-pixel resolution and 400 nits brightness for crystal clear images. It has an IPS panel with the 178-degree viewing angles, so there is no loss of visuals when looked from different angles. Please note that you can use this ten-point multitouch display with a USI Acive pen that is sold separately. You can hook up an external display at 60Hz refresh rate via the HDMI output. You can use Google Docs free of charge and it is compatible with the Microsoft Office.
Connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 4.2, an HDMI output, and a USB-C port. You’ll stay connected with the front and back webcams and you can connect a mouse via Bluetooth or with a USB-C to USB adapter. There is no USB 3.0, microSd card reader or audio-out on this machine, you can’t expand the storage and you’ll be relying on external storage or Cloud and it can get a little laggy in the tablet mode if you have several browsers open. Otherwise it is very sturdy and durable with a great build quality, is easy on the eyes with a sleek and modern design with rounded corners and straight edges, and with a long battery life. You’re not paying much for this 2-in-1 Chromebook and as long as your expectations are not very high, you will be satisfied.
