Platinum Lenovo Yoga 730-13IWL is a mid-2019 model 2-in-1 flagship convertible laptop with a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen display and a long battery life. You can use it comfortably when you’re on the go or traveling.

The quad core Intel i5-8265U (6 MB SmartCache) ultra low voltage processor works at speeds between 1.60GHz base and 3.90GHz with turbo boost. It has a high Passmark benchmark score of 8010 to handle the advanced daily and business tasks easily. The performance is helped by the 8GB DDR4 SDRAM’s multitasking capability that complements the processor power nicely.

Not many of the users will need more than 8GB for normal daily use and they’ll be able to have several apps and browsers open simultaneously without dramas. The 256GB PCIe SSD is large enough storage space at this level and has a positive impact on the overall snappy performance by opening the files much faster than normal. The operating system that comes pre-installed on this system is the Windows 10 Home 64-bit version with a user-friendly platform.

Platinum silver Lenovo Yoga 730 is easy on the eyes with its sleek aluminum finish. It weighs only 2.9 pounds with the measurements of  8.4 x 12.2 x 0.6 inches, so it is only 0.6 inches thick. You have a 360-degree rotating hinge that lets you use the machine in different modes of laptop, tablet, tent and stand. You have the built-in Windows Ink, which is like a smart pen for you to take notes, drawn doodle etc., get creative and productive.

The i5-8265U is an ultra low voltage processor with a TDP- thermal design power of 15 watts. And the 3-cell lithium ion battery lasts up to 10 hours in practice depending on what you’re doing on the computer. Connectivity options include the 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C ports, a USB 3.0 port, 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 4.1, and a headphone/microphone combo jack. The keyboard is backlit for the ease of typing in the dark or dim light and the key travel distance is good.

There is a fingerprint reader for secure sign-in purposes. The 13.3” FHD anti-glare widescreen touch display with IPS panel has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, and 300 nits brightness. You can use it outdoors and view it comfortably from any angle vertically or horizontally. The built-in Intel UHD 620 graphics offers the performance level of the dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 920M card for entry level gaming and the usual daily media tasks. It has a decent quality 720p HD webcam for still shots or live chats on Skype or Messenger. Overall you’re getting pretty good value for money with this 2019 model laptop.
