Merax Afuture is a modern luggage set of three lightweight hardshell spinner suitcases of 20, 24 and 28-inch sizes. They are made of ABS material (with PC film) that ensures lightweight and durability at the same time. They should last long even if you’re a frequent traveler and will keep your belongings safe.

The set is offered in eight beautiful color options to choose from, including black, watermelon red, orange, tangerine, red, light gold, purple and blue with small price differences that you can see on the product page. The advantage of getting a different bright color is that it will be easier to spot your luggage on the airport carousel and you’ll be less likely to lose them.

The telescoping handles lock at three different points and with the multidirectional 360-degree rotating spinner wheels you can easily maneuver the bags in tighter spaces without much effort or making any noise. You also have the side and top cushioned handles that are comfy to hold. The Merax Afuture Luggage Set is reliable, durable, functional, safe and comfortable to use.

These three size suitcases are offered only as part of a set on Amazon and they will be shipped fitted into each other: Small into medium and medium into large. This is also how you may want to store them when you’re not using them. The smallest 20-inch suitcase is the cabin or carry-on size and is good for carrying to the plane. It meets the size requirements of pretty much all the major US and global airlines. Both the medium 24-inch and the large 28-inch size suitcases should be checked in at the airport.

20” cabin bag weighs only 5.7 pounds with dimensions of 21 x 13 x 7 inches including the wheels. 24” medium size suitcase weighs 7.4 lbs and measures 25 x 16 x 10 inches. And the 28-inch suitcase weighs 9.4 pounds and measures 29 x 18 x 11 inches. Please note that these are not expandable but they already offer plenty of storage space. Just take two inches off the heights if you want to get the measurements without the wheels.

All of them include a three-digit combination non-TSA approved lock to help you keep your stuff safe. The lock is preset to 0-0-0 and simply push the button and set your own numbers and release the button and voila. The nice pattern on each item will keep them free of any scuffs or scratches. They are easy to clean with a damp cloth as they have hard exteriors.

Overall the Merax Afuture is quite a decent luggage set and the warranty offered is one year by the company. For example one of the customers had a dent in the corner of one of the suitcase and Merax sent them a brand new suitcase. They look fancy and should be able to endure rough treatment by airport staff but there are a couple of cases reported by customers where they had the lock jammed or suitcase broken by the luggage handlers at the airport.

These are not the absolute top quality suitcases with 100% polycarbonate hardshell material but are definitely pretty good for the lower price level.
