The navy and yellow Nautica Ahoy Hardshell Luggage is offered as a two piece set of 21 and 28 inches. And you have the option to purchase them separately, as a single cabin bag or a large suitcase of different sizes, all of which need to be checked in prior to your flight.

It is an imported luggage set with ABS exterior hardwire shell with the ribbed diamond texture, textile mesh full lining inside and zipped curtain, two mesh zipped pockets, adjustable shoulder straps and interlocking main zipper pulls. They come with the four single 360-degree spinner wheels that move in all directions smoothly by holding the recessed push button locking telescoping trolley handle. They offer easy maneuverability even in tight spaces.

The Nautica Ahoy has an American classic design, is sturdy and durable and will last you several years even if you’re a frequent traveler. You will get them shipped nested into each other and you can store them this way when you’re not traveling. The large 28” suitcase weighs 10.4 pounds with the measurements of 28 x 20 x 11.25 inches. And the smaller 20” carry-on bag weighs 6.2 pounds and measures 19.5 x 14.5 x 8 inches without the wheels or the handles. You just add an inch or so to include the wheels, but you can use it as a carry-on bag on most global and domestic airlines without having any issues.

The 20″ cabin bag will fit in the overhead locker above your seat easily, but not under the seat in front of you.You also have the 25” version medium size suitcase that weighs 8.65 pounds, with the measurements of 25 x 17 x 10.5 inches. All Nautica suitcases other than the 20” need to be checked in before your flight- security and passport control. Please note that there is no integrated lock (TSA or non-TSA) on the Nautica suitcases, but two standard holes on zippers in which you can put a lock. These bags are not expandable but offer more than adequate storage inside for your different lengths of journeys. The smell mentioned by a couple of customers is the “brand new” smell and nothing bad. The top section of these suitcases is totally zipped as a separate compartment.

The Nautica Ahoy has a unique design and will be easy to recognize on the airport terminal conveyor belts. It is an imported luggage set that is made in China, like most goods sold in the US these days due to the trade agreements with China. It looks very classy with a premium look and feel and you’ll probably get stares at the airport. The Nautica Ahoy bags lightweight despite having a solid yet flexible ABS hardshell. The wheels are sturdy but the actual metal encasements would have been better. They spin nicely- very smoothly and easily on different surfaces.
