You can switch between laptop and tablet modes easily on this detachable compact computer that weighs only 2.64 pounds. It can be used for your work or study as long as you’re not working on complex multimedia editing or other very demanding software. It is good for things like internet browsing, social media, streaming videos and playing easy, not so demanding games.

The quarter 1 of 2018 release quad core Intel Pentium Silver N5000 CPU (4 cores, 4 threads) works at a base speed of 1.10GHz up to 2.70GHz with the turbo boost function. It is an entry level processor with adequate performance for daily use with its average CPU Passmark benchmark score of 2597 on the day of this product review. 4GB memory is the minimum needed on a system these days and shall be fine at this level for your daily needs as long as you don’t try and open too many apps and browser tabs simultaneously.

64GB eMMC flash on this detachable laptop tablet is not a lot of storage space as some of it will be occupied by Windows 10. You can use external storage or Cloud when you have internet access. Windows 10 S mode can be changed to the regular Home version easily and free of charge through the Settings, Activation and Windows Store. But once you switch over there is no going back to the S mode with the additional security features but with certain limitations. You can only download and use the apps from the Windows Store.

The typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is 6 watts for the Pentium N5000. And depending on your type of usage and light settings the battery life of its lithium ion battery should last up to 6 hours in practice. 11.6″ Full HD touchscreen display has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and IPS panel with very large and comfy viewing angles at all directions. Intel UHD 605 graphics card offers similar performance to the Intel HD 505 Apollo Lake and lets you play the simple games like Sims 4 or Dirty Rally.

There is a 2MP front facing webcam for you to chat live on Skype or take still photos. Connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth, a USB 3.0 port, a microSD Card Reader, a headphone jack, microphone, a mini HDMI port, and a DC-in jack.
