The generic fanless mini computer that we’re reviewing on this page has the entry level Intel Atom Z8350 processor, 64GB eMMC flash storage, 4GB DDR3 memory, Windows 10 Pro operating system, dual band WiFi 2.4, 5G, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 3.0, 4K Ultra HD and support for 2.5-inch SATA Solid State Drive.

The second quarter of 2016 release quad core Intel Atom Z8350 processor (2MB cache, 4 threads without hyperthreading) on this micro PC works at the speeds between 1.44GHz nd 1.92GHz with the boost frequency. The typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is just 4 watts and it is perfectly suitable for fanless and very quiet operation. It is an entry level CPU with a current average Passmark benchmark score of just 923 that will be fine for daily tasks like internet browsing, video streaming and light gaming at low settings and resolutions.

You have the minimum amounts of local storage and memory on this mini computer– 64GB eMMC Flash storage and 4GB DDR3L memory. You have the option of increasing the local storage capacity of this little machine up to 2TB through a 2.5-inch Serial ATA Solid State Drive. Or you can alternatively insert an SD (up to 128GB) card for a better performance. 64GB is still better than the 32GB that you’ll find on many budget computers, even though some 30GB will be occupied by the Windows 10 OS. And you don’t have much left for your own files and would rely on external or Cloud based storage.

Windows 10 Pro operating system has all the features of the Windows 10 Home and security features like the BitLocker device encyption and Windows Info Protection and many other productivity and business management features aiming to save you money, time and effort. The built-in Intel HD Graphics (Cherry Trail) 400 is an entry level unit that shares the memory with the Atom Z8350 CPU. It can handle some of the older, not so demanding game titles at the low settings and resolutions. This is a fanless mini PC that offers efficient heat dissipation and lets you work and play without being disturbed by a constant fan noise.

Connectivity options include the 802.11ac dual band wireless for stable connection, Bluetooth 4.2 for connecting your Bluetooth, 1000Mbps LAN Gigabit Ethernet, an HDMI output, a VGA port, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, a headphone/microphone combo, a micro SD card slot and a DC connector. It is a very small mini computer that measures 4.92 x 4.92 x 0.98 inches, comes with a VESA bracket and you can fit it anywhere easily, and without causing much clutter on your desk or around it.
