Samsonite Versalite DLX is a three-piece soft shell luggage set of a 27-inch suitcase, a 20-inch cabin bag and a 16” duffel with dual spinner wheels. You can get the set in teal, purple or Poseidon blue colors.

The smallest duffel weighs 2.23 pounds and measures 16 x 10.5 x 11 inches, 20” carry-on bag weighs 8.21 pounds with the dimensions of 15 x 8 x 20 inches and the largest 27” weighs 10.59 pounds and measures 18.5 x 9.5 x 27 inches. You can take both the duffel and the 20” cabin bag onto the plane and you need to check in the 28” prior to your flight.

The two suitcases come with the four dual spinner wheels that move 360 degrees effortlessly and smoothly. And you shall be able to move your luggage easily by holding the ergonomic pull handle even in very small areas. Both the 20” and 27” suitcases are expandable by another 1.5 inches added to the already spacious interior.

You’ll find a strap at the rear of the duffel and you can slide it over the handle of the large suitcase and move through the airport terminal quickly and easily. The carry-on bag may seem to have larger dimensions than some of the airlines’ standard cabin luggage limit when you include the wheels. But it actually meets most domestic and global airline carry-on luggage allowances and you will have no problems fitting it in the overhead locker above you.

These are soft shell yet very good quality, sturdy and lightweight Samsonite bags. By choosing any of the three colors you’ll make it easier for yourselves to find your bags as they’re not black and all three colors are fine for males and females. They are gender-neutral and all look neutral. The red fabric on the large zippers of each bag also makes it easy to identify your bag.

The ballistic nylon cover on the exterior of the bags makes them look and feel more solid and durable. You’ll have no problems regarding durability and construction quality with these bags. Even if they get any wear and tear over time the fabric and cover hide it quite well. The three bags nest into each other and Samsonite will ship the smaller two bags fitted into the large one. They will be a bit heavy this way and quite lightweight when empty on their own.

They are rather easy to handle, sturdy and reported to withstand the impact quite well. The eight wheels underneath the two bags are also great for moving very smoothly and for staying put- they will not be falling over like the regular suitcases may. The chrome handles are also heaps better than the plastic alternatives on some other bags. Many customers on the Samsonite and other sites claim that the bags still look like brand new after even 7-8 years of use.
