Quarter 1 of 2018 release Gemini Lake dual core Intel Celeron J4005 processor (4M cache, 2 cores & 2 threads without hyper threading) works at the speeds between 2.0GHz and 2.7GHz with the turbo boost function. The average CPU Passmark benchmark score is 1581 for an entry level overall performance to handle the everyday tasks and with adequate multitasking capability. The typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is 10 watts for reduced energy consumption. And you can expect up to 7-8 hours of battery life from its 38Wh high capacity battery when streaming videos at the reduced light settings etc.
8GB LPDDR4 memory offers decent multitasking power for this entry level computer and lets you run a couple of programs or apps with a few browser tabs at the same time without freezing or lagging. With the 128GB M.2 SSD storage offers 5 times quicker transfer of data than a regular eMMC flash storage and lets the system boot up faster. It should be an adequate amount of storage space if you’ll not be saving a lot of multimedia files and can be upgraded up to 1TB if you’ll need more. Windows 10 Pro operating system is pre-installed with the additional security and business features and you can upgrade it to the latest Windows 11 with a Mac OS-like interface with the rounded corners and the taskbar in the centre.
Tulasi 14.1” Laptop is lightweight and ultra slim, weighs just 2.86 pounds and measures 12.8 x 8.3 x (0.37-0.65) inches and you can take it anywhere you go easily and use it on your travels too. There is no Optical DVD Drive and the connectivity options include the 2.4G/5G supporting 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 4.2, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 3.5mm audio jack, micro SD Card Reader, Mini HD, and 3.5mm DC charging. It doesn’t have a fan at the bottom or on the sides but the keyboard lifts a little when you open the laptop, which helps with the airflow. The keyboard is not backlit but it is a chocolate keyboard with the enlarged keys for a nice typing experience.
14.1-inch micro-edge Full HD non-touch display has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, clear, bright and vibrant colors, good contrast and IPS panel with the 178-degree viewing angles. The integrated Intel UHD 600 graphics supports 4K UHD resolution at 60Hz and you can connect this laptop to a monitor by using a mini HDMI to HDMI cable. The Celeron processor and the Intel UHD 600 graphics are both entry level and let you play the light games like Minecraft or Roblox comfortably, but not really the demanding games with higher CPU, a dedicated GPU and RAM requirements. You can still play Sims 4 at the lower settings and resolutions, browse the web and play Youtube videos without problems.
