VGKE B12 is a sleek and modern 2-in-1 detachable laptop with a 12.3-inch 3K IPS touchscreen display, Intel Celeron J4125 processor, 256GB Solid State Drive, 8GB memory and good connectivity options including 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port. It first became available at Amazon.com recently on April 21, 2022 and there is a single 5-star rating so far and is listed in top 100 best selling 2-in-1 laptops.  

The quarter one of 2020 release quad core Intel Celeron J4125 processor (4M cache, 4 threads without hyper-threading) works at the speeds between 2.0GHz and 2.7GHz with the turbo boost function. It offers similar performance to the Pentium Silver N5000. The average CPU Passmark benchmark score is 2988 at the time of this review for a decent mid-range performance level that will be adequate for your daily tasks- work or pleasure. The typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is only 10 watts and is good for a longer battery life from its 3500mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. 

256GB Solid State Drive offers great speed that is up to 30 times higher than a regular SATA HDD hard drive when opening files and starting the computer. It is also a reasonable amount of local storage space for you to save your regular files, music and videos. 8GB LPDDR4 memory lets you run different browser tabs and apps simultaneously without much of a lagging or freezing. This is also helped by the moderate multitasking capability of the mid-range Celeron J4125 processor. Windows 11 Home operating system comes pre-installed on this machine and you have a Mac OS-like user friendly interface with the taskbar in the centre and rounded corners.

You have a laptop when the screen attached to the keyboard and a tablet when you detach the screen from the keyboard. And it offers you a good deal of functionality, versatility, utility and portability. VGKE B12 weighs 2.6 pounds (1.7 pounds as a tablet) and measures 10.8 x 7.8 x 0.36 inches. And you can use it on the go and take it wherever you go on your travels easily.  You can type comfortably on the B12’s type cover keyboard with the keys that feel nice and a responsive trackpad.

12.3-inch 3K IPS touch display has the 3200 x 2000-pixel resolution and is crisp and bright with the vivid color and good contrast and has the 178-degree viewing angles. It comes with the Intel UHD 600 as the built-in graphics card which offers similar performance to the Apollo Lake Intel HD 500. And you can only play the easy, not demanding games like Sims 4 or Dirt Rally. It comes with a 1MP front webcam for your live chats on Zoom or Skype and 2 x 1W speakers for a reasonable sound quality. Connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 5.0, 2 x USB Type-C ports, a micro HDMI output, 3.5mm audio jack, 3.5mm DC jack, and a miniSD card up to 256GB. It is a powerful enough machine for your daily tasks, entertainment and homework.
