AmazonBasics Hardside Spinner Luggage – 3 Piece Set (20″, 24″, 28″), Black Review
AmazonBasics Hardside Spinner 3-Piece Luggage Set
Black AmazonBasics Hardshell 3-Piece Luggage Set is made up of 20-inch, 24-inch, and 28-inch spinner bags that are suitable for shorter and longer trips. They are especially great if you are a frequent traveler and you can use them for your overnight or weekend trips or long Europe or South America vacations.
The impact, water and scratch-resistant hard shell exterior (textured ABS) offers extra strength and ensures the contents of your luggage are better protected throughout your journeys. So you can have a peace of mind and be certain no harm will come to your stuff during your trips. And the exterior of the suitcases will look like brand new even after several uses over time.
They all have the main durable zippers that close securely and reliably. They have the fully-lined interiors with the large zippered pocket on one side with other smaller zippered areas for your different small items and cross straps on the other side. This means your clothes and other belongings will be better organized during your trips.
The luggage interiors are spacious enough but can also be expanded by up to an extra 15% so you can fit more stuff in. They all have the convenient and user-friendly aluminum telescoping handles and four multi-directional spinner wheels. So you can maneuver them around smoothly and effortlessly 360 degrees- in all directions. They look a bit shiny but the design is still quite nice and modern and you will at least separate them from a lot of suitcases on the airport carousel.
You can extend the telescoping handles only a single level but feel solid and can support quite a bit of weight when the suitcases are full. You also have the side and top mono-cushioned yet functional and solid handles. Please be aware that the largest 28-inch suitcase can go over the size and weight restrictions if expanded by 15% and/or fully loaded. It will naturally depend on the specific airlines’ restrictions and you may want to check with them.
There is no built-in lock mechanism on any of the suitcases of the AmazonBasics set. But you can certainly use an external lock by inserting to the open sections of each zipper. Each suitcase is sent nested into each other so they all take up the space of the single 28-inch luggage. This is also how you can store them when not in use. This is a very well constructed set of three relatively lightweight yet sturdy and durable suitcases at a reasonable price tag.
