Platinum grey Lenovo Ideapad 330s (81FB00HKUS) is a 15.6-inch modern slim laptop with a powerful AMD Ryzen 5 2500U processor, integrated AMD Vega 8 graphics, 256GB Solid State Drive, 8GB DDR4 memory and Windows 10 Home 64-bit operating system.

Please note that this is a brand new computer in its own box and with all the original accessories. It has a sleek and modern chassis with a simplistic design and that is packed with power. It is easy to use, feels snappy overall, is sturdy and durable and the price seems fair. The quarter 4 of 2017 release ultra low voltage AMD Ryzen 5 2500U processor (4MB L3 cache) works at a base speed of 2.0GHz up to a turbo spped of 3.6GHz. It has 4 cores that run on 8 threads and a decent PassMark benchmark score of 6576. The typical TDP- Thermal Design Power is 15 watts for a longer battery life of up to 7 hours.

High bandwidth 8GB DDR4 SDRAM allows you to run different browsers and software at the same time without lagging, also with the multitasking power of the Ryzen 5 processor. 256GB Solid State Drive offers both good size storage space and speed when opening files, starting up and shutting the computer. It allows an easy hard drive upgrade if you need more storage space. Platinum silver Lenovo IdeaPad 330s weighs 3.9 pounds and measures 14.1 x 9.6 x 0.76 inches- is both sleek and compact and the screen is neither too big nor too small.

15.6″ FHD non-touch WLED-backlit non-touch screen has the 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and very narrow bezels for more viewing space on a smaller screen and chassis. You can play the older game titles easily at higher settings and the newer more demanding ones at lower settings and resolutions. There is no Optical Drive on this Lenovo 330S and is easy to connect an external drive via Bluetooth or USB. Connectivity options include the 802.11ac wireless, Bluetooth 4.2, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, a USB-C  HDMI 1.4 output, Media Card Reader, and a headphone/microphone combo.

The keyboard is not backlit but the keys have a nice feel over longer typing sessions. You’ll get a 30-day free trial version of Microsoft Office 365 installed and you can extend it by purchasing an activation key if you wish to use more. You’ll be hard pressed to find a laptop with the same specs, features and design at this price level. It is easy on the eyes, has a bright anti-glare display, a powerful processor, good size and fast memory and storage and offers decent customisation options. It would be very much suitable for home or student use with their daily simple or more demanding work or entertainment tasks. We’re more than happy to recommend it at the current price level.
