2020 Newest Lenovo IdeaPad S150 is a 14-inch laptop with the entry level tech specs of the AMD A6-9220e processor, 64GB eMMC flash storage, 4GB DDR4 memory, Windows 10 Home in S mode with the additional security features, and modern connectivity options.

Microsoft Office is included for one year and you can pay to extend it if you need to. Lenovo IdeaPad S150 comes with the NexiGo 32GB MicroSD Card bundle as a bonus. You can pay about 100 dollars extra and get the same model with a 128GB Micro SD card on top of the 64GB eMMC storage or pay 150 dollars more to get the 256GB Micro SD card. And a wireless Bluetooth mouse is also included with the last two options.

The dual core AMD A6-9220e processor (1MB cache)  on the Lenovo S150 works at a base speed of 1.6GHz that goes up to 2.4GHz with the Intel turbo boost. This is a low power CPU with a very low typical Thermal Design Power- TDP of just 6 watts. And this helps with the passive cooling and the 35Wh lithium ion battery to last up to 7 hours for regular daily computing tasks, like word processing, web surfing, video playing etc.

RAM was originally 2GB and is upgraded to high bandwidth 4GB DDR4 to let you run several apps and browser tabs simultaneously. Hard drive is also upgraded to 64GB from 32GB to give you some more local storage space. You’ll also get the 32GB microSD card free of charge and you can pay more for the +128GB or +256GB Micro SD card options. It is suitable for use by students, daily home or simple business use. Windows 10 Home in S mode is pre-installed on this machine and you can switch to the standard Windows 10 Home very easily.

The 14-inch high definition, anti-glare, non-touch screen with the TN panel has the 1366 x 768-pixel resolution and 220 nits brightness. It has the built-in AMD Radeon R4 graphics card that is good enough for simple web browsing, video streaming or playing very basic games at acceptable settings and resolutions. Connectivity options include the 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, an HDMI output, 2 x USB 3.0  ports, a headphone/microphone combo jack and a standard VGA resolution webcam.

Gray Lenovo S150 is lightweight and portable- weighs 3.09 pounds and measures 12.9 x 9.3 x 0.8 inches. Please note that this is a modern brand new laptop with the upgraded configurations. It is tested and inspected with the necessary upgrades installed by the authorised seller. Despite being an entry level laptop, the smart dual-core processor feels smooth and responsive as it learns from your daily computing to improve your performance level. It is good enough for light daily tasks and multitasking. Please note that keyboard is not backlit and the screen doesn’t have the touch function and there is no optical drive. It is good value for money if you’re after portability, modern design and longer battery life.
